Josh loves trains, He has a train table, but this was his own creation on the floor! He is so sweet. He takes trains everywhere with him, to church, to take a bath, I think he has even taken them to bed, but he always puts them on his dresser when he goes to sleep. He is such a joy to our family!

I'm soo proud of her! She received the Presidential award for being on the Honor roll all 8 semesters of Middle School and scoring above the 85% on the MEAs. (standardized tests) She is all ready for High School! hehe not really! She will do just fine. She's in Honors Bio,H. Eng, H. Algebra and H. Geography, Spanish, and Health. Packed schedule but she can handle it! :)

Lexi's 8th grade Dance. She was so breathtaking! I hate it! ;) She had a really good time. They met at the park and had pictures and then she went with some friends on a limo bus around town. She said she had fun at the dance but they were all really hot! I'm proud of her for her choice in dress, and that she let me do her hair, it means a lot to me that she still wants me to do that kind of stuff for her.

Watching crazy videos the kids make on the laptop. They distort the voices so it sounds funny, Josh gets a kick out of them. I love my family, they are so precious to me! I think this is what heaven is going to be like. Happiness and lots of smiles!

This was a fun Primary activity they had! The Gilliams put it on for the kids, they had a great time! Josh was playing on the swings for most of the time... I wish I had grabbed my camera earlier, he was so cute! Nate had a great time too, they had a bouncy house and he loved it! It was fun for the adults too! We got to sit around and chat with each other. :)

A new leaf

So, I am stealing this idea from a friend of mine because journalling is boring to me but I figure if I incorporate photos with my "journalling" it will be more exciting to me! Thanks Krista for this idea!

Her concept was to not forget the "little things". Josh is now 3 and there are sooo many cute things that he has done, and I am sure I will forget!

When he was a baby he wheezed, of course we thought it was adorable, the doctors thought it was a problem, so needless to say he had many tests run to find out why he was wheezing. They didn't find anything, and he soon outgrew it... sadly. :)

Maybe I will start with recent things.

Josh LOVES to read books and is now "reading" them to us~! It is so cute! You can pick out some words in the sentences, and of course the last word of each line is said very clearly.

He has his routine, so when I say, "ok time for nigh night" he says, "of course we read books!" and books it for the stairs. We go potty, read and then as soon as I say the last word of the book he slides off daddy's side of the bed (farthest away from his room) and I grab is blanket and catch me a "dinosaur!" Then we go into his room and sing "let me call you sweetheart" sometimes it's a mommy solo and sometimes it's a Joshie solo and sometimes it's a duet! I then put him in the crib, cover him with his blankie (that Zan made for him!) and he says "hugs and kisses" so I bend down and give him squeezes and kisses and then he says" bye mommy, love you! I love him so much!

Martin age 4, when I would video tape Lexi as a baby he would jump around and say "see Martin, See Martin!"

Nathan age 2-3 ish use to say "drinky, drinky" when he was thirsty.

Lexi age 2 use to do this cute pose thing with her hands up in the air when I wanted to take her picture.

Can't believe he is 18 months already!! Crazy! He is so much fun, when he isn't testing me!! Im catching on to his little game! He is saying all kinds of words, doing animal sounds, almost counts to 10 with help! He is running around the house like crazy. Loves to go outside! And oddly enough he willingly goes for naps and bedtime! He's a good sleeper like is big brother Nathan was.

Wow! Took me long enough! I just can't keep up with Facebook and blog! So its nearly a year late but here they are! My mom was able to come out for it and as always we had a blast and miss her terribly now!

I love you Nathan! I am so proud of you for the young man you have become! I am proud of you for your decision to be baptized! Continue on this path and you will never go astray!

Lexi's first temple trip!

This is Lexi's first trip to the temple! It was awesome! She was so excited about it. Ray was able to baptize her again for those waiting for this precious ordinance. I am so grateful to her and all of my kids for their sweet spirits and amzing examples they are to us and those around them. I am hoping that the next time we go I will have some family file names to do!

Jake absolutely loved Lexi! It was adorable! Joshua was in heaven with all the toys that he had

never seen before. Nathan slept over at Courtney's house and then came over later, after we went to the temple (pictures in next post)! It was a lot of fun to see Caren and Dave and get to know Jake some more!

Christmas Tree!

One good thing about an artificial tree is that you can put it up Thanksgiving day! hehe! Traditionally we put the tree up the weekend of Thanksgiving, but because it was just us for Thanksgiving dinner we had time to spare! It's always fun decorating for Christmas, it just adds that extra spirit of Jesus Christ to our lives.

Martin has just recieved his Star in Scouts this month! He has been working really hard on it with his leaders. I am so proud of him for all that he does, he is well on his way to Eagle and his Duty to God award! He is such a good kiddo... you just gotta love him!

Well it appears that we didn't survive after all!! Just kidding! Sorry I have been addicted to facebook so my blog has been neglected. We are all still alive, and with one school term behind us, *does a little dance*, we are doing great! I will try to upload some more pictures and such and being as it is the 4th of November, I will be adding another month pic of Josh. Don't forget to VOTE!~ hehe. Still alive

Well Martin and I are both surviving his first few weeks of high school! YAY! He had a lot of homework but we seem to be keeping up ok. (unlike my own :/) Nathan also has mucho homework... ugh! Lexi has more but she doesn't need my help... is it stupid to feel sad about that... NOT!~ Lexi is loving being a sixth grader! Her birthday went fabulously! I wish I had taken more pictures... but as always I couldn't find batteries!!! I HATE BATTERIES!! What is more I hate not having money to just buy more if I need them :/ Anyway! I don't seem to have enought time in the day to get everything done. Which is also the reason I don't post much on here anymore. Well Josh is calling me so I will try to put pix up soon!

At the lake

So, We went on a youth trip to the lake today. It was a very beautiful day to go it was 86 degrees. The kids were all having fun in the water then after lunch the majority of the kids wanted to go on a trail off into the woods. I figured they wouldn't go far. Rose a friend of mine was nervous because she hadn't been on the trail before. I wasn't so nervous because Nathan was going and I really didn't figure that he would let them go far before wanting to come back. Well and HOUR later... no children. I started getting worried so I walked about a quarter mile up the trail.. yelled... no answer.. alittle farther... nothing. At this point I prayed. I didn't feel relaxed so now Im really concerned!! I came to a point where the trail forked off and had no idea which way they would've went. So I turned back to see if someone would come with me I met up with a couple of the yw coming to help me. so we set off again and were able to follow their footprints in the mud in sporatic areas. When the prints cut off from the trail one of the girls decided to go back to see if they were back... of course at this point I realized I should have brought my cell phone.... HELLO! Well by this time I am pretty much barely holding it together... luckily Pearl was with me or I would have been histerical! We followed the prints and realized that they were following a rough trail because we saw markers on the trees. Also by this time my voice is hoarse from screaming their names. Well it appeared as though they were following the trail around in a circle when we could hear the people at the lake again we figured it would be best to just get back as fast as we could to see if they made it back. So we made a bee line toward the sounds and we then ran into the yw who turned back and she said they were back.... UGH!! I have not been so petrafied in my life! They didn't even realize anything was wrong... *Shakes head* anyway.. one of the boys that went with them had been on the trails before.. had I KNOWN that I wouldn't have worried!! They had actually gotten back 20 minutes after I had left... anyway, I am so grateful for my kids and gave them all big hugs when I got back!

So, Martin starts High school this year!!! How is that even possible!?!? *sigh* I'll have to come to terms with that eventually... My most anxiety provoking concern is Lexi's 12th Birthday party... We have already done bowling and skating.. what else is there to do in a podunk town in Maine?! If anyone has any suggestions pass them on!! I only have 2 weeks!! Then 3 weeks later Nathan turns 8! YAY! He can't wait to start Cub scouts and be baptized! My mom will be here for that I hope!! Sometimes I just feel so out of it... Maybe it's the summer.

7 months!! Wow, I only have 2 months to lose all this "baby" fat?! Yikes! ;) He is soo worth every pound! He has such a personality. He definately knows what he wants and will let you know if you get it wrong. He adores Lexi and Martin, he just lights up when they are around. He adores Nate also, but it's more a one way street on that one still. As a side note I am not looking forward to school starting... He is going to be soo sick of me! :P

Finally here are Joshua's Six month pix. He has been doing this cute new thing were he sees the camera and stops smiling..grr. But he is still adorable. He said "mama" on Friday, it was the cutest thing!! He was just waking from his nap and was doing that fussy cry/talking and just as I walked in to get him he kinda whined "mama"!! I cried!! He has been sitting up since the 14th. He is starting to push up on his knees (sticking his tushy in the air) so crawling is right around the corner. It is true what they say about a babies smile being addicting for moms, but I think I have to add sister's to that list!!

The end of a School...

This was the last year for this old school. You can see in the pics above that the new school is almost completed. The kids have enjoyed watching it grow during this year of school because it is being built right behind the old one. The excitement has been high, the teachers are ecstatic and it will be a great experience for the kids to be in a brand new school next year.

It's gifts like these that make everything worth while. I can't believe that Martin is starting High School next year!! Yikes! It's just not possible! Lexi will be in 6th, and Nate will be in 3rd. They are all looking forward to the summer, we are putting in an above ground pool here in the next couple weeks so that will be a life saver for the "I'm bored!" comments that will be starting soon. They have been working hard helping to remove the grass and get the pad ready. It will be awesome to have!

Martin is recieving the Citizen Award tomorrow. This award is given to a student from each "team" at the junior high school by the students. He doesn't know he is getting it yet, so that will be fun! Lexi received the Citizenship award at the elementary, given to kids who are caring and thoughtful to others and teachers. Nathan didn't get any awards but he is a sweetie and recieves the cutie patutie award from me! They are all amazing kids! I am truly blessed to have them, their sweet spirits.

I can't beleive the changes in a month! He still wants to do WAY more than his little body and lack of muscle control will allow him. He is laughing a lot, is very ticklish EVERYwhere! He has found his toes!! It's the cutest thing, I have some pics I will put up of his new find. You just want to squish him!! And next Wednesday gramma will get to do just that! YAY~!

Ray and Lexi went down to Lexington, Mass to see the re-enactment of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. They had a really good day! After the field trip they went shopping and bought Lexi a comforter set for her bed and a few things for our master bedroom.

WOW! I can't beleive how much he has changed! He is now smiling all the time, and laughing if you get him just right! He is chattering away also! He can hold his head up on his own and obviously he is sucking on his hands. (hasn't quite found that thumb though!) He is grabbing for things, sortof and can bring his hands together in front of him. I can't beleive he is already three months! I want to slow down time!!

I have just been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for all that I have. I am grateful that my husband is such a worker (even though he is only here 2 nights a week!). He would do anything for anyone. He is an amazing example to me and for our kids. Speaking of kids! I do NOT know how I would have made it through this pregnancy, or the arrival of our bundle of joy without my kids! They are simply fabulous. Martin will do anything I ask, without complaint, he loves playing with Joshua and making him smile. He is such a great kid(and broken bone free for over a year..YAY! *crosses fingers* that it will continue!)! I dont know how I lucked out! Lexi is amazing with Joshua, I asked her to help me get him dressed yesterday for the Relief Society Dinner, because as usual I was running late, and I think she dressed him faster than I do! She is always willing to hold him and help me. Nathan is definately warming up to him! He will talk to him and try to make him smile now, which is a huge step for him! He is helpful and fun loving and so sweet, "mom, I love your cooking!" LOL, I can sure bake a frozen pizza! ;) I am so thankful for the friends I've made here!(and my forever friends from afar!) They are so wonderful! Our ward is awesome, they all pitched in and helped do sooo much work on the house before I came home from the hospital, I can't thank them enough for all that they did for us! I know that I have said some of this before but I just felt that I needed to share!

He is already more comfy with Eeyore! He's growing sooo fast! I can't beleive its 2 months!! The one on the left is his 1 month, and the right is 2 months. He was 11 lbs 2 oz last week, so he's definately not starving! :) We are enjoying him so much, the kids are fabulous with him. He is now "gooo" ing and "agoooo" ing. SO CUTE! And a fleeting smile now and again, you really cherish them when they happen.

Lexi's Resolution

How SWEET is she?! She just brought this home from school so I had to put it on here! She is already fullfilling her resolution. She is so amazing with Josh and Nathan for that matter. She even put the details on the nursing pillow! I don't know what I would do without her. She is always willing to help! I am so proud of her and I love her soo much!

Another addition to our family..

I thought the kids would enjoy this, I know mine do! We have two Parakeets...obviously. Well they layed eggs! and out of the 6 only this cute guy hatched! I can't believe how big they get in just a month! You may have to blow it up a bit to see the dates but its amazing! Lexi takes really good care of them, they are her birds. She really is responsible with them! Oh, The mom birds name is Misty and the dad is Cloudy so she came up with Drizzle as the baby, how cute is that!?! =D

I stole this idea from a super duper friend of mine, I hope she doesnt mind!! Each month she took a picture of her baby with a stuffed animal, to show his growth... Sooo Joshua met Eeyore on his one month.. birthday?! Anyway I dont know how he feels about him.. he looks a little concerned. :/ hehe! but he will get to know him over the next year! OMGosh.. You just want to eat him up!!

Lexi and Nathan are taking an Irish step dance class, and these are their costumes for the recital in May. How adorable!! Nathan is the only boy in the class so he gets his own little part, they practice all the time... gotta love hard wood floors. ;)

So this was the big day! My mom came out from Utah to meet Joshua and help me out during my recovery (ok more to meet Josh then for me! ;) ) What a blessing it is that Ray was able to give him his name and blessing! To have a worthy Priesthood holder in our home. It was a great day! He looked so cute in his little suspender pants ( although you can tell, they are suspenders!) Of course he cried alittle at the end but the blessing was beautiful. Martin and Lexi are such a big help! Nathan doesn't quite know what to do with him yet, but I think it will change when he becomes more interactive. I am greatful that my mom was able to come out and be with us. I can't believe how hard it was to see her go... now I'm homesick..ugh!
